Verizon Wireless has been very generous with grants that have allowed Norman B. Barr camp continue its mission. Verizon has been the key supporter for expanding the kids program and facilities (with new sport court, updating craft building, bunk beds and rec room). They have allowed us to update areas to keep them safe and fun for kids of all ages at NBBC!

Santa cause

NBBC is an annual participant in Gage Marine's "Twelve Charities of Christmas." This area favorite fundraiser supports twelve of Walworth County's most deserving charitable institutions. Help support NBBC's mission by bringing your friends and families to the “The Twelve Charities of Christmas Tree Festival” raffle. The festival is a winter wonderland where each of the 12 charities have decorated a Christmas tree, surrounded it with marvelous raffle prizes, and given all visitors the opportunity to win! After touring the displays and depositing your raffle tickets, you'll embark on a magical Christmas cruise to Santa’s North Pole. Along the way you’ll enjoy holiday displays decorated in millions of twinkling lights. The Grand Belle is decked out in Christmas splendor offering a climate controlled and comfortable ride. There's fun for all ages with adult and children beverages. The event runs 7 days a week starting in November and runs through December. Boat tours leave from Gage Marine’s Winter Harbor Monday through Friday. Tours operate daily but do not run December 24th and 25th.
